Meet Dr. Malhotra

Ranjan P. Malhotra, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist at Ophthalmology Associates, serving patients in the St. Louis area. Dr. Malhotra specializes in Cornea/External Disease and Refractive Surgery.

Upon returning to St. Louis in 2000, Dr. Malhotra joined Ophthalmology Associates in partnership with Dr. Berdy and has expanded his practice into a successful, patient-oriented setting that acquires the latest ophthalmic technologies. In addition to his primary practice, he has been involved in the education of residents at local medical schools and at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in St. Louis.

Dr. Malhotra, along with other family members, established the Malhotra Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Dr. Malhotra and his wife were also significant contributors in establishing a permanent building for the Bal-Vihar Center for Indian Cultural Education in St. Louis.

More About Ranjan P. Malhotra, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Malhotra has been at the forefront of acquiring the latest in ophthalmic technologies for the office, including an Ocular Blood Flow analysis, Pattern ElectroRetinoGram (PERG) and a Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) all of which help to detect early glaucoma and macular degeneration. In addition, Dr. Malhotra participates in and is the primary investigator for many FDA trials for medications used in the treatment of glaucoma, dry eye, conjunctivitis, allergy, and bacterial/viral infections.
